In this racket, a 10mm thick cypress wood was compressed to 8.7 mm by a special high-heat pressure process. The blade becomes thinner at the end of this process. Compression creates the following advantages: decrease of vibration, power increase due to the increased density, and it is easier to handle a thinner blade. To cut a long story short – the player gets the power of plywood in a single-ply blade. Made in Japan
