Donic Original №1

This blade has a similar ply formation to DONIC Original No. 1 Senso but is slightly heavier. In contrast to Original No. 1, this blade does not have a Senso handle. The weight distribution is therefore different and the blade appears to be more balanced. Two layers of Acryl-Carbon surround the inner ply. This blade is distinguished by enormous acceleration, yet has great feel and a relatively soft touch. The Donic changed the “Ovtcharov” blade line to the “Original” blade line. The Ovtcharov blades were very popular among Donic‘s customers, so they kept the design and modality of the blades unchanged and merely revised the print and lens. They are the same blade.
